Salary: National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from 52400 to 66000 and London 57700 to 73000 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

In Knowledge Information & Insight (KI&I) our focus is to ensure information is effectively managed and coordinated across the FCA by understanding where it is held, aligning its use with our policies, managing its lifecycle and connecting the right people with the right knowledge at the right time.

Role responsibilities
  • Play a key role in shaping the FCA’s approach to information and records management, supporting strategic workstreams and contributing to policy development
  • Drive improvements in compliance assurance and control evaluation, helping embed and enhance priority areas of the FCA’s Information Management (IM) policy
  • Support the organisation’s understanding of records management compliance, enabling better decision‑making and accountability
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of the FCA’s IM policy, ensuring it delivers meaningful impact across the organisation
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of stakeholders across all levels and business areas, building strong networks and broadening organisational insight
  • Develop valuable project management and leadership skills within a supportive environment that prioritises professional growth and continuous learning
Skills required
  • Minimum:
    • Experience working in the information/records management field
    • Experience of risk management and compliance activities
  • Essential:
    • Proven experience in delivering change and embedding improvements in information and records management
    • Strong organisational and project management capabilities with the ability to meet demanding deadlines
    • Skilled in managing the full information management life cycle and driving continuous improvement
    • Confident communicator able to present outcomes clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
    • Collaborative approach with a track record of working successfully across teams including with senior stakeholders
