A leading NHS trust in Westminster is seeking an Information Governance Manager for Research. The successful candidate will provide specialist advice on data protection and governance, support training programs, and lead objectives in information governance. This role entails working collaboratively with staff and external bodies, ensuring compliance with governance standards. This is an exciting opportunity for any talented Information Governance colleagues to fulfil a temporary post and gain valuable experience in the NHS health research space. As the IG Manager for Research, the post holder will provide highly specialist advice within the information governance team contributing towards meeting information governance, data protection and privacy standards including the Data Security and Protection Toolkit and reducing information risks. The post holder will be required to deputise for the Head of Information Governance as required. The post-holder will be expected to work with various members of staff across the organisation, external agencies, and patients and the general public. Knowledge of research processes is desirable but not essential.
