Job summary

A UK-based contractor is seeking an Industrial Electrician for a permanent position based in North West England. The role involves completing electrical works on control systems, panel wiring, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 and experience in industrial systems, with a salary of circa £45,000 plus overtime. A valid driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional apprenticeship or equivalent Electrical training.
• NVQ Level 3 Grade.
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
• Experience of industrial grade plant.
• Experience of panel wiring, panel and control systems.
• Ideally to have experience of motor systems.
• Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical works on panels and control systems.
• Repair and maintain industrial electrical systems and motors.
• Work on electrical projects and assess all electrical plans and installations.
• Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure H&S, RAMS and H&S documentation are correct.
• Complete minor fabrication and instrument engineering.
