Job description

Electrician – Water / Water Treatment Industry

GRS are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our client, working primarily across the water and water treatment sector. This role is focused on reactive maintenance, with additional involvement in installation, fault‑finding, and overseeing all electrical elements, including control panels, panel wiring, and MCC panels.

The Role

• Carry out electrical maintenance and reactive repairs across water treatment and utility sites.
• Work with control panels, MCC panels, and general electrical systems.
• Participate in a 1 in 3 weekend on‑call rota:
• Flat on‑call allowance.
• If called out: 4 hours minimum at time and a half.
• 40‑hour standard working week.
• Overtime rates:
• Time and a half (Mon‑Sat midday).
• Double time (Sat midday onwards & Sundays).
• Door‑to‑door travel paid.
