Job summary

A health and wellbeing organization in Harrow is seeking an experienced Independent Prescriber. This full-time role involves providing supportive care to individuals with substance use disorders, ensuring the best outcomes through direct engagement and health promotion. Candidates should possess a background in nursing or pharmacy, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach. This is a permanent position offering an annual salary of £52,378–£55,356, inclusive of London weighting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of prescribing to individuals with substance use disorders.
• Familiarity with harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
• Ability to engage in case discussions and peer support.

Responsibilities

• Help people rebuild their lives and reconnect with family and friends.
• Deliver health and wellbeing support as an Independent Prescriber.
• Participate in regular meetings for peer support and CPD.
