Income Officer

This full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) offers a salary of £25,883 per annum and is a fixed‑term contract until October 2026. The role is fully remote, with working hours scheduled between 08:00 and 22:00.

Daily duties of the Income Officer
  • Review rent and service charge accounts, contacting customers via phone or digital channels.
  • Identify reasons for non‑payment and provide tailored support/advice.
  • Handle sensitive conversations with resilience and empathy.
  • Manage a caseload, offer benefit advice, discuss repayment options, and agree sustainable arrangements.
  • Ensure customers understand actions required to resolve debt issues.
Essential requirements of the Income Officer
  • Previously worked within Social Housing.
  • Able to work a varied shift pattern between 08:00 and 22:00.
