Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • A proactive, resilient individual who can uphold high standards.
  • Ability to support with nappy changing and cater to individual special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Provide crucial assistance across Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement support plans.
  • Build strong relationships with students to promote holistic development.
