Inclusion Manager

13 hours per week (2 days) Part Time (possibility of additional hours subject to budget availability)

Fixed Term until Summer 2026

OVERVIEW

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Inclusion Manager to join the SLT of this progressive and happy school. The right candidate for this role may have recent successful leadership experience for example phase / curriculum leader deputy headteacher or assistant headteacher as well as the knowledge and passion to take on the role of SENCO. They will have the ability to motivate and inspire a varied team of teachers in new strategies to improve teaching and learning over the whole school and will deliver excellent teaching and learning in their classroom. They will be fully committed to promoting our Christian ethos and will reflect the schools vision and values by promoting and developing a learning and caring culture.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Be an effective member of the Senior Leadership Team supporting the Headteacher in the organization management and development of the school with specific responsibility for inclusion.
  • Act as SENCo ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and Equality Act.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping reporting and monitoring of LAC and other vulnerable pupils.
  • Liaise with families teachers and other professionals to ensure joined-up support.
  • Provide CPD and support for staff on all areas of inclusion including SEND EAL behaviour and safeguarding.
  • Teach as directed by the Headteacher demonstrating outstanding inclusive classroom practice.
