(Import/ Export Ocean Operator (Cross Trade)) - Position Overview Import/Export Ocean Operator required! Our client is a reputable UK-based logistics company specialising in international ocean freight. They provide reliable, timely, and cost-effective transport solutions for clients across multiple sectors, managing shipments globally. They are now seeking an Import or Export Ocean Operator to join their collaborative team, playing a key role in managing cross-trade accounts and ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant handling of shipments. In this role, you will manage day-to-day import and export ocean freight operations, liaise with shipping lines, agents, and customers, and ensure all documentation and regulatory requirements are completed accurately. You will also coordinate cross-trade shipments, monitor transit times, resolve operational issues, and support the broader team to deliver an exceptional service experience.

Position Requirements
  • Knowledge of ocean freight procedures, including imports, exports, and cross-trade shipments
  • Familiarity with customs documentation, shipping lines, and freight forwarding protocols
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Position Remuneration
  • Monday to Friday - 08:45
  • £30,000 to £33,000 per annum
