The job

As an Implementation Consultant you will report to a Team Leader and collaborate with all colleagues in the business. The purpose of this role is to configure our IntelliPen suite of products for our clients. To be successful as an Implementation Consultant, you should be proficient in the use of TSQL, XML and able to work well as part of a team. Ultimately, an outstanding Implementation Consultant will demonstrate sound technical knowledge as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for all aspects of configuring our “IntelliPen” administration system to meet our clients’ requirements, including but not limited to, the configuration of workflows, data maintenance screens, interfaces with other systems, pensioner payroll, data migrations, reports and benefit calculations.
  • Meeting with clients to gather requirements
  • Communicating with clients throughout the software customisation process to obtain feedback and approval.
  • Customising software systems based on clients’ individual needs and specifications.
  • Educating clients on how to use IntelliPen and customised system features. Engaging with our training team when required.
  • Creating documentation for clients and for internal use where appropriate.
  • Support in the software release process when required.
  • Support in the software upgrade process when required.
  • Build credibility with team members and all internal and external clients.
Qualifications
  • Experience in implementing software systems
  • Adaptable and agile
  • Be a responsible and reliable professional, with a consultative approach
  • An understanding of business processes and workflows
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver rapid outcomes
  • Confidence to adapt and learn new programmes and systems
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and organisational skills
  • High degree of numeracy
  • Configuring or developing pensions or financial services software
  • Microsoft – full Suite
  • Managing databases using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Experience of T-SQL
  • Alternative programming knowledge, even if only from developing Excel macros or similar
