Job summary

A prominent UK Islamic Charity is seeking a Head of Quality & Impact to design and implement evaluation frameworks across all programmes while ensuring the quality and impact of its grant-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance, along with proven skills in stakeholder management and impact reporting. This role offers a full-time contract with flexible working, including one day a week in London, and a competitive salary range of £42,000 – £50,000.

Qualifications

  • Proactive and analytical professional with strong experience in monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance.
  • Proven ability to produce impact reports and work across diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of evaluation methods (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Experience in the UK welfare or poverty sector is desirable.
  • Experience in cash transfer programming and an understanding of Zakat is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement evaluation frameworks across all programmes.
  • Lead internal and commission external evaluations.
  • Oversee programme audits, ensuring alignment with SOPs and Sharia compliance.
  • Manage a Quality Assurance Officer and support programme teams with monitoring tools.
  • Produce actionable reports and contribute to the Charity’s annual impact reporting.
  • Act as a supportive partner to teams, promoting a culture of learning and reflection.
