Job summary

A leading immigration support firm in Manchester seeks an experienced Caseworker to provide expert legal advice, manage caseloads, and ensure high standards of client care. Candidates should possess IAA accreditation, a law degree, and at least 1 year of experience in immigration and asylum representation. Qualifications

  • Fully accredited at IAA Level 1, 2 or 3.
  • At least 1 year of experience in immigration and asylum legal advice & representation.
  • Confident liaising with clients, authorities and stakeholders.

Role Description

As a Caseworker, you will provide expert immigration and asylum advice, manage caseloads, prepare and represent cases and ensure the highest standards of client care.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Provide advice and casework assistance in all areas of UK immigration law
  • Ensure all contact with the client and any other action taken in respect of cases is recorded on attendance notes and regularly updated on the database.
  • Interview and advise clients regarding Immigration / Asylum law, procedure and practice.
  • Liaise with Immigration Authorities, other agencies and groups as required.
  • Meet specified casework and other targets as set by Supervisor
  • Stay current with immigration law developments and attend training
  • Work to meet personal and team targets
  • Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Management.
✅ What we’re looking for :
  • Fully accredited at IAA Level 1, 2 or 3
  • LLB or Law related degree or diploma
  • At least 1 year of experience in immigration and asylum legal advice & representation.
  • Strong communication, organisational and client care skills.
  • Confident liaising with clients, authorities and stakeholders.
