Job description
Overview

The Imaging Department at Addenbrooke’s Hospital (Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) is recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Imaging Portering team. The team of Porters is an essential part of the Imaging Department, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure a high standard of patient care. Porters are often the first staff to greet and care for patients who need to be seen within the department.

Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from departments such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray and General Imaging.
  • Work flexibly in line with the needs of the service.
  • Undertake a range of portering duties within the Imaging Department.

Please note that the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular position and a full-time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa unless a Graduate visa has been applied for, the course has been completed, or Skilled Worker sponsorship has been agreed.
