My client is a highly reputable and well-regarded IFA practice in Edinburgh. A new opportunity has become available for an Office Manager to join this stable IFA firm as they continue to grow.
This is an excellent opportunity if you are already working as IFA support, looking to progress your career, and undertake additional team management tasks in due course. Ideally, you will be currently working in an adviser's office as a manager.
Responsibilities include day-to-day administration such as processing applications, chasing outstanding information, dealing with external companies, and assisting support staff with workloads. You will work alongside your adviser, covering both private client and corporate work, and help less experienced staff as required.
Ideally, you will have experience within an IFA or the wealth management sector in a support role, with knowledge of various software packages and platforms. You should take pride in your work and aim to deliver high standards.
This role offers a pathway to team management in the future, with opportunities for progression, involvement in workshops, training, and development. The focus is on client administration rather than a fully technical paraplanning role.
