Job summary

A leading financial planning firm in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced Administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for client correspondence, processing new business, and back-office support. The ideal candidate should have a background in Financial Planning, though this is not a prerequisite. The position offers excellent benefits, including 25 days holiday, training for professional exams, and opportunities for progression to roles such as Trainee Paraplanner. Qualifications

  • Ideally have some existing Financial Planning background.

Please note: Progression is available to Trainee Paraplanner, Paraplanner and to Adviser if you so wish. However, this is not a prerequisite to be considered and the business is very happy to have long term administrators.

Overview of the role
  • Client correspondence, written and verbal.
  • Processing new business.
  • Preparation of client review packs.
  • Arranging client meetings and managing the Adviser’s diary.
  • Illustration requests.
  • Ensure that all financial planning client administration is carried out in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Maintain client records on the company software and ensure the client files are well presented, accurate and compliant.
  • Taking phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them where appropriate.
  • General back‑office support using IO software
