Job description

Overview

This ICT Technician role is a key part of the ICT & Digital service at North East Lincolnshire Council. You’ll be part of a 13-person team, working closely with Senior and Advanced Technicians to deliver high-quality operational support. The role is central to maintaining and improving ICT services across the council, aligned with our ICT strategy and commitment to continuous service improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Be the go-to person for delivering outstanding customer service, supporting users with a wide variety of ICT needs.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with software, hardware, networking, or telephony, or collaborate with colleagues to tackle more complex technical challenges.
  • Gather and analyse data to inform policy and system improvements and help shape the future of ICT services.
  • Contribute to a blended working approach, with predominantly office-based duties and occasional home working in line with service needs.
