A local government council in the United Kingdom is seeking an ICT Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will provide outstanding customer service, support a variety of ICT needs, and diagnose technical issues. This primarily office-based role allows for occasional home working. Ideal applicants will have a strong technical mindset and excellent communication skills, aiming to contribute to continuous service improvement.
This ICT Technician role is a key part of the ICT & Digital service at North East Lincolnshire Council. You’ll be part of a 13-person team, working closely with Senior and Advanced Technicians to deliver high-quality operational support. The role is central to maintaining and improving ICT services across the council, aligned with our ICT strategy and commitment to continuous service improvement.

We love AI and think it plays a great role in the world of work. However, for your application, we want to hear from YOU! As such, we will be testing applications to determine the use of AI, and applications that have heavily utilised the function will be scrutinised for suitability.
This role is a blended working role (the duties of the role will require a blend of mainly office-based working due to the front-facing nature, with occasional home working in line with needs of the service).
