An educational institution in the UK is seeking an ICT Technician to provide hardware, software, and systems support to staff and students. This role involves responding to IT issues, maintaining systems, and assisting with new technology rollouts. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and knowledgeable in ICT systems. Grade 2 £25,185 - £26,403
Working pattern: 37 hours per week
Contract term: Permanent
Location: Ashfield School, close to the A38 and M1 with a free staff car park
ICT Technician – provide hardware, software and systems support to staff and students, delivering excellent customer service and troubleshooting IT issues.
• Respond to IT issues for both staff and students
• Maintain and update hardware, software and network systems
• Ensure accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions
• Assist in the rollout of new technology and support school initiatives
Essential: Customer focused, initiative driven, thorough knowledge of a range of IT systems, experience of ICT maintenance and fault resolution.
Desirable: Experience working in a school environment; ability to liaise with teachers and support learning technology.
