An exciting opportunity to join a forward-looking ICT Team, delivering quality technical solutions to a Blue Light Service.
Working alongside our experienced Infrastructure and Security Manager, you will help ensure that Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service is protected from cyber threats. You will ensure that the infrastructure that supports our Firefighters is reliable and effective. Working with your colleagues in ICT and the wider Service, you will be responsible for resolving issues and safely delivering change. You will play a leading role in the delivery of projects within the service, focused on critical areas of cyber security assurance.
To be the successful candidate, you will have relevant cyber security and infrastructure skills. You will have experience of administrating servers and network devices such as routers, switches and firewalls. You will possess degree-level education or relevant industry qualifications and experience. You will be capable of working swiftly and accurately, often in time sensitive situations. You will understand the benefits of working to well described processes, aligned to ITIL methodology.
