The Role:

We're looking for a skilled ICT Business Analyst to join our team. Use your analytical expertise to turn data into business solutions and support strategic decisions.

As an ICT Business Analyst, you'll help staff optimise current ICT systems and assist with new projects and implementations. The role involves supporting solution delivery, testing, and customer sign-off.

You will:

  • Act as a key liaison between ICT, its customers and users, promoting new technology and the ICT team.
  • Define and document business functions, processes, and requirements.
  • Consult with stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure system designs deliver benefits while meeting data accuracy, security, and compliance standards.
  • Undertake gap analysis and prioritise developments aligned to the Safety Plan.
  • Track and document changes to specifications and tangible business and financial benefits.
  • Support user acceptance testing and produce training materials.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in preparing proposals for new solutions.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and compare delivered benefits against expectations.

You will need strong communication skills to work with users and ICT staff, defining and documenting requirements. You will also need to be a team player and be able to demonstrate that you can work on your own initiative, using your skills and experience to work with a wide range of people including the ICT team, staff, and suppliers where your skills in communication and negotiation will be as important as your ICT knowledge.
