Connect Appointments have a new exciting opportunity for a reliable and experienced individual to become a Hygiene Operative with our Ingliston based client.

Working as a Hygiene Operative:
  • Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm
  • £12.30 per hour - paid weekly
  • Overtime paid at £18.45 per hour

Your role as a Hygiene Operative is to ensure the environment is safe and clean to prevent a negative impact on quality standards. As such your duties will include:

  • Clean all floors, walls and machinery on a rotational basis or as required - this will at times require working in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Clean all spillages as and when required.
  • Proactively respond to any incidents or environmental concerns which could negatively impact health and safety and quality standards - notifying management of any concerns.
  • Complete daily paperwork; liaising with other areas to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Undertake any reasonable tasks as required and directed by management.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have strong experience within a similar role. Combined with:
  • Experience of working to strict procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Forklift license is advantageous but not required.
  • Previous experience in confined spaces is advantageous but not required - full training is provided.
