Job Title: Property Manager / Senior Property Manager

Location: Doncaster (North of Nottingham or South of York)

Salary: Property Manager: c. £35,000 | Senior Property Manager: £40,000 - £45,000

Office Visits: Weekly or bi-weekly, depending on location

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading property management organisation, managing a portfolio of residential developments across the Doncaster region. Candidates at Property Manager and Senior Property Manager level are welcome to apply. You will manage your own portfolio and, for Senior Property Managers, lead a small team of Property Managers, ensuring high-quality, professional property management services are delivered consistently. The role offers hybrid working, with regular travel to sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high standards of property management across your portfolio, building strong relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders
  • Oversee large, complex developments including high-rise, mid-rise, and low-rise buildings
  • Lead a small team of Property Managers (Senior level only), providing guidance and support on complex or technical issues
  • Ensure all properties are well-maintained and compliant with relevant legislation, including Building Safety and Fire Safety Acts
  • Undertake regular site inspections, proactively managing risks and maintenance issues
  • Manage portfolio finances, including budgeting, expenditure, creditors, and debtors
  • Maintain clear communication with customers through newsletters, meetings, and updates
  • Support teams in producing comprehensive action plans for each development
  • Lead on major works projects, retendering contracts, and general best practice in residential property management (Senior level only)
  • Act as a visible brand ambassador, providing guidance on site to ensure standards are met
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive organisational success
  • Prepare monthly internal reports and escalation potential risks or issues as required
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven experience managing residential properties
  • For Senior Property Manager: experience leading a small team and managing complex/high-rise developments
  • Knowledge of Building Safety Act, Landlord & Tenant Act, and other relevant legislation
  • MTPI or RICS qualification preferred, or willingness to work towards one
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, calm, and able to build strong client and customer relationships
  • Willingness to travel across the region and attend meetings outside office hours
  • High professional standards and ability to work independently
  • Problem-solving skills, adaptable to changing circumstances
