Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Recruitment Officer to manage recruitment processes effectively. The successful candidate will provide advice on job adverts, conduct pre-employment checks, and represent the Council at events. Qualifications

  • Experience with internal recruitment in fast-paced settings.
  • Ability to work two flexible hybrid days.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment processes and personal caseloads.
  • Provide advice on writing job adverts and selecting candidates.
  • Conduct pre-employment checks and process DBS checks.
  • Answer employment-related questions and issue contracts.
  • Advertise vacancies through various channels including social media.
  • Verify work eligibility, references, and medical documents.
  • Represent the Council at job fairs and events.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the Council.

Skills

HR/Recruitment qualification or relevant experience
Experience in fast-paced recruitment environments
Strong understanding of recruitment processes and vetting
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience using AI tools
Ability to work with managers at different levels
