Job summary

A Managed Service Provider is seeking an experienced Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join their Technical Services team in Glasgow. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to support and deliver infrastructure across varied environments. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with Windows Server, Linux systems, and virtualization technologies like VMware. The position offers a salary up to £45,000, a quarterly bonus, and extensive benefits including private healthcare and 22 days of holiday plus statutory public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Infrastructure or Systems Engineer role, ideally in an MSP environment.
• Strong experience with Windows Server and core infrastructure services.
• Experience with Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience delivering and supporting LAN, WAN, and wireless solutions.
• Strong Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP knowledge.
• A valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver infrastructure services across various environments.
• Provide escalation support across servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud.
• Drive technical improvements and contribute to consultancy work.
