Qualifications

• Proven experience in a legal cashier or legal accounts role.
• Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR).
• Experience with legal accounting and electronic banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing office and client account transactions.
• Processing inbound payments for office and client accounts.
• Issuing bills, cheques and processing BACS payments.
• Bank reconciliations, VAT returns, bookkeeping and month-end reporting.

Skills

Proven experience in a legal cashier role

Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)

Experience with legal accounting and electronic banking systems

IT literate with good MS Excel and MS Word skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
