This is a fantastic chance for a dedicated and dynamic professional to lead a high-profile project on a 12-month contract, with a lucrative day rate of £500.

About the Role:

As the HVDC Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of integrating high-voltage direct current technology into a major renewable energy initiative. Your role will be crucial in driving the project from planning through to successful execution, ensuring all phases are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will lead a talented team, engage with key stakeholders, and ensure that the project sets a benchmark in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and implementation of HVDC project aspects, ensuring seamless integration with renewable energy technologies.

Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.

Analyze economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return-on-investment standards.

Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.

Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date.

Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide regular updates and progress reports.

Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans.

Requirements:

Proven experience and success in managing HVDC projects in the renewable energy sector.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring a team and managing a diverse set of stakeholders.
