A leading energy firm in the UK seeks an Electrical/Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Murton. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining substation equipment, conducting installations, and performing fault investigations. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical/Mechanical qualification and practical engineering skills, as well as a full UK driving licence. Qualifications

  • Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical engineering OR NVQ/Level 3 qualification.
  • Practical fitting experience with demonstrated skills.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • Good level of computer literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a wide range of works on substation plant and equipment.
  • Strip down and rebuild high voltage equipment.
  • Conduct fault investigation and repair.
  • Follow routine condition monitoring processes.
