Title: Humanities Teacher

Start date: September (with the opportunity to start sooner)

Salary: £160 - £200 per day (Depending on experience)

Are you an experienced, enthusiastic Humanities Teacher? Do you have a track record of helping students develop and grow? Do you have experience teaching KS3 & KS4?

About the role

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Barnsley, offering outstanding facilities and a top-level working environment. We are looking for a Humanities Teacher specialising in Geography, RE and History to join our school team on a full-time basis starting in September. You will work with KS3 and KS4 students and help them prepare for exams and GCSEs.

Responsibilities
  • Teach KS3 and KS4 students in Geography, RE and History as part of the Humanities faculty.
  • Plan, deliver engaging lessons and monitor student progress to support GCSE preparation.
  • Effectively manage behaviour to create a positive learning environment.
