An exciting vacancy has arisen for a HR Operations Manager to join a fast-growing HR team, based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven business who pride themselves on delivering a quality service. This is a key role in leading the delivery of the operational HR support to the business covering all areas of HR administration, first line support for Managers and employees and ER case management.

Below is an overview of the role in more detail :
  • Partnering with others in the HR function to build a seamless service delivery and alignment with the broader people strategy
  • Leading a team of HR operational specialists, including the HR Support Team Leader, driving performance and engagement
  • Monitoring of service performance metrics and working to continuously improve processes that enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction levels
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection and employment legislation across the service
  • Liaising with payroll to ensure a seamless process for starters, leavers and contractual changes
  • Leading the ER support for the group and line managing a small team of ER Advisors
  • Leading on complex and high-risk ER cases and supporting with tribunal claims where necessary
  • Developing and maintaining ER policies
  • Ensuring the right processes exist between HR operations, ER and the People Partnering team
  • Building capability across the business through coaching and training
  • Analyzing data to identify trends and implementing appropriate solutions to address any issues

This really is a fantastic opportunity to add value to a business going through a huge period of growth and positive change. My client is open to experience and background for this role – however a real bredth and depth of experience in HR and managing teams ideally gained from within a fast-paced, multi-site organisation is preferred. A proven ability to build strong working relationships at a senior level is key along with having had exposure to large-scale change such as TUPE and M&A activity.

Please note this is a full-time role that offers hybrid and flexible working, but does require someone that is happy to have a presence in the office approximately 3 days per week.
