Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a part‑time (30 hours) HR Business Partner who is highly motivated and ready to work in a fast‑paced team.

As part of the Trust's Operational HR department, you will work with, and manage, members of the HR Advisory team to provide generalist HR support to Care Group and Corporate Directorates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build trusting and effective relationships with Senior Managers, Staff‑Side (Trade Union) colleagues and other key stakeholders to resolve issues and drive forward change.
  • Oversee and resolve a wide range and high volume of employee relations cases.
  • Provide HR advice on organisational change and manage the delivery of a comprehensive, proactive and professional operational HR service.
  • Develop manager capabilities to embed a Just Culture approach, ensuring colleagues are treated with kindness and openness.
  • Work with senior managers to challenge established thinking and drive change within the organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • CIPD chartered membership or actively studying towards this qualification.
  • Experience in employee relations with the ability to resolve high‑volume cases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Ambitious, flexible and a creative thinker who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
Location

The role can be based at either our York or Scarborough site, with a requirement to work across any of our Trust sites. Working from home is normal, but you will need to attend face‑to‑face meetings when required.
