Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive HR advisory support across UK locations within a global architecture practice
- Work closely with two HR Advisors to deliver a consistent, high-quality HR service
- Lead on employee relations case management, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
- Coach and advise line managers on UK employment law, policy and HR best practice
- Line-manage, mentor and support the HR Coordinator, overseeing day-to-day HR administration
- Support organisational change initiatives and contribute to HR policy and process improvements
- Collaborate with the wider global HR team to align UK practices with global frameworks
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor (or similar) role within a design practice, architecture, engineering or professional services environment
- Strong hands‑on experience managing UK ER cases end‑to‑end
- Solid working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience advising and coaching line managers across a multi‑site UK organisation
- Previous experience mentoring or line‑managing a junior HR team member (e.g. HR Coordinator)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small HR team while managing multiple priorities
- Experience supporting organisational change and people initiatives in a fast‑paced environment
