What You’ll Be Doing
- Manager and Employee Support – Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, covering areas such as performance management, grievances, sickness, and absence management.
- Policy Development & Training – Develop and refresh HR policies such as paternity, maternity, parental leave, etc., ensuring employees are well-informed and confident in applying them.
- Manager Capability Building – Design and deliver engaging workshops to upskill managers and strengthen their knowledge across the business.
- Employee Relations – Support People Partners in complex ER cases, particularly those unique to the manufacturing environment, with professionalism and care.
- DEI and Belonging Advocacy – Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the whole organisation.
- HR Project Support – Contribute to cross‑functional HR projects and strategic initiatives that drive business impact.
- Benchmarking and Insights – Support benchmarking activities to inform decision‑making and enhance HR practices.
- Data and Reporting – Utilise tools such as SuccessFactors, Moore Pay, Excel, and Power BI to generate meaningful HR reports and insights.
- Compliance – Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and adhere to compliance and principles such as GDPR, among others.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating at a Senior People Advisor level, providing HR Generalist support from entry level to Senior Managers.
- Previous experience leading Manager Workshops / L&D.
- Evidence of using initiative and instigating change.
- Proficiency in HR systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
