Job Profile: HR Advisor
Location: Home-based, with regular meetings in the West Midlands and occasional client travel
Full or part-time (min 25/30 hours), ideally across 5 days.
Are you a hardworking, performance-driven, values-led HR professional who thrives on variety and enjoys learning fast? We’re looking for an HR Advisor to join our team and support a mix of clients across different sectors.
This role is all about making a difference — helping organisations strengthen their people practices, supporting managers to grow, and ensuring HR has a positive, practical impact. You’ll bring the energy and focus to deliver, and the integrity to do it in the right way.
What you’ll be doing
Providing clear, pragmatic HR advice and support on employee relations cases.
Delivering HR projects on engagement, change, development, communications and wellbeing.
Coaching and building capability in managers.
Drafting and updating HR policies and processes.
Supporting HR cycle activity such as engagement surveys, induction, and performance.
Adapting quickly to different organisations and building trusted client relationships.
What we’re looking for
At least 3 years’ HR experience, with exposure to casework, projects, policies, and coaching managers.
Performance-driven with a strong work ethic — someone who gets things done.
Values-led, with integrity and fairness at the core of how you work.
Quick to learn and confident in handling new or unfamiliar situations.
A natural relationship-builder with excellent communication skills.
CIPD qualified (or working towards) is desirable, but your behaviours, attitude, and potential matter most.
What we offer
A role full of variety, where no two clients or days are the same.
Home-based working, balanced with regular West Midlands team time and client visits.
A people-focused culture that values hard work, collaboration, and results.
Opportunities to grow your HR expertise while making a visible difference to clients.
