Overview
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh and Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an HR Administrator for a 3 month contract with possible extension on a rate of £149.50/Day. This role will be hybrid based.
Responsibilities
- Provide a point of contact for enquiries from a range of stakeholders, including managers, employees, job candidates and third-party suppliers such as recruitment agencies via email, telephone/MS Teams calls.
- Administration of invoicing and raising of purchase orders to support the Talent Acquisition team budgeting process.
- Provide comprehensive, start to finish pre-employment checking and onboarding of new colleagues through use of various internal software and systems.
- HR data maintenance in line with GDPR and internal retention policies.
- Engage with and support on projects within the Talent Acquisition team and wider People and Change function.
Essential Skills
- Experience of working in an administrative role, preferably in an HR/Recruitment environment.
- Ability to safely handle confidential data.
- Analysis and making effective decisions.
- Provides appropriate information and data to support Talent Acquisition colleagues in decision making.
- Monitors and stores data securely and accurately, confidentially and responsibly.
- Collaborating and partnering
- Buids and maintains relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, seeking help from colleagues when required to ensure accurate and timely responses.
- Ability to provide support to colleagues and job applicants, through written and verbal communication.
