Job summary

A respected UK law firm is seeking a HR Team Leader with a strong operational background. The successful candidate will lead the HR Administration team, oversee onboarding processes, and act as an escalation point for HR inquiries. Required qualifications include HR operational experience within professional services and CIPD Level 5 certification. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary based on experience.

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a HR Team Leader, with a strong operational background, to join a large and highly respected UK law firm.

HR Team Leader responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the HR Administration team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations
  • Oversee onboarding, pre-employment checks, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Act as escalation point for HR queries and third-party screening providers
  • Work closely with payroll, recruitment, and HR business partners to streamline processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR systems, workflow, and service delivery

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven HR operational or team leadership experience within professional services
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (Level 7 desirable)
  • Strong working knowledge of HR systems and compliance processes
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
