HR Officer - Temporary Maternity Cover (up to 12 months)

An excellent opportunity to join a prestigious organisation in a varied and rewarding HR role within a small, friendly team. We are seeking an HR Officer to provide key support across recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR policy implementation.

Part-time | 22 hours per week (3 Days on site)

Responsibilities
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes from start to finish
  • Provide HR support across performance management, absence, and employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Draft HR documentation including contracts and letters
  • Respond to general HR queries and provide first-line advice
  • Keep the HR database accurate and compliant
What We're Looking For
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience (essential)
  • Bachelor's degree (desirable)
  • 2+ years' experience in a generalist HR role, including ER casework
  • Strong knowledge of current employment law
  • Excellent organisational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Confident user of HR databases, Word, Excel, and Outlook
