A prominent health service organization is looking for a Recruitment Administrator to support their HR team in Glasgow. This 6 Month Fixed Term position involves posting job adverts, assisting with candidate shortlisting, conducting eligibility checks, and onboarding new hires. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, have HR experience, and be familiar with HR systems such as eESS and JobTrain. This role offers a hybrid working model, with a commitment to inclusivity and a supportive work environment.
This post is a 6 Month Fixed Term / Secondment position. As per the Fixed Term Contacts Policy – Where individuals with continuous service within the NHS apply for fixed-term contract roles, NSS reserves the right to refuse any such appointment.

In June 2025, the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care introduced two key frameworks: the Population Health Framework and the Service Renewal Framework (SRF). The SRF sets out an ambitious vision to drive innovation and enable more integrated delivery across Scotland’s health and care services. As part of this transformation, NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) will come together to form a new organisation: Public Services Delivery Scotland in April 2026. The new organisation will play a pivotal role in supporting the renewal and long‑term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland. People, Solutions and Experience are a team within the Human Resources and Workforce Development Department. We aim to provide an excellent service in all aspects of employment from prior to commencement and throughout the employment lifecycle of all staff. This includes providing a wide range of professional services such as recruitment, terms and conditions of service and policy, advice and guidance.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, written and verbal, combined with great organisational and time‑management skills, to join the team. You need the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, customer service environment and possess good decision‑making skills. A good understanding of HR practices and a professional, confident and flexible approach is essential to balance the needs of the customers with the requirement to adhere to policy and process. Additionally, you should have experience of HR systems and be computer literate with standard Microsoft packages. Experience of working with eEES and/or JobTrain would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have experience in an administrative role, ideally within an HR or recruitment environment and should be qualified to HNC level or with equivalent HR experience.
Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow and includes hybrid working. Work pattern Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with PSDS.
