Job description
Role Purpose

Were seeking an experienced HR Manager with strong generalist expertise and a proven employment law/ER background. Youll lead a team of HR Consultants and deliver high-quality HR partnering across a large, geographically dispersed workforce. A key focus is progressing complex, high-volume casework to resolution in partnership with legal and employment law teams. This is a full time role for 12 months contract, working 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday. Hybrid working available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted HR partner, providing strategic and operational advice across all HR areas.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of HR Consultants to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Drive workforce planning to align people resources with organisational priorities.
  • Oversee complex/high-volume ER casework, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Implement and improve HR policies and processes that strengthen performance, engagement, and culture.
What Were Looking For
  • Significant experience in a senior HR Manager/People Partner role.
  • Strong generalist HR capability, including workforce planning and employment law.
  • Proven track record managing dispersed teams and services at scale.
  • Extensive experience with complex, high-volume ER casework through to resolution.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • CIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent experience).
