A growing, respected company in Birmingham is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead its human resources department. This role offers a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum and focuses on developing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment law. The ideal candidate will have a CIPD qualification and experience in a Generalist HR role.

Overview

HR Manager – Birmingham – £45,000 - £50,000 per annum. A growing, respected company in Birmingham are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead its human resources department. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about people, compliance, and organisational growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations, including grievances and disciplinary matters
  • Promote staff wellbeing, engagement, and retention
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal standards
  • Provide HR metrics and strategic insights to senior leadership
  • Support workforce planning and organisational development
Qualifications
  • A CIPD Qualification, ideally Level 5 or above
  • Experience in a Generalist HR role
  • Experience in a Social Care or Supported Living environment
  • Strong understanding of UK and International employment law and HR best practices
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
