We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to join our client's team and transform workforce data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of HR and analytics, supporting key initiatives such as workforce planning, diversity reporting, and organisational performance.

Your new role: Build and maintain workforce dashboards and reports that align with key business objectives and statutory requirements (e.g., headcount, turnover, absence, EDI, recruitment, pay, learning data). Use tools such as Power BI, People Analytics system, and SAP Business Objects to deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Spot trends and emerging workforce risks, providing interpretation and practical recommendations.

Partner with HR systems teams to automate reporting processes and enhance analytics capabilities.

Act as the go-to expert for reporting tools, offering training and support to colleagues.

Ensure data accuracy and compliance through audits and validation checks.

Support workforce planning with forecasting and scenario modelling.

What you’ll need to succeed

Proven experience in HR data analysis and reporting.

Strong skills in Power BI (DAX), SQL, SAP Business Objects and Excel; experience with MHR or similar HRIS systems is a plus.

Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for decision-makers.

Knowledge of GDPR and data governance best practices.

Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
