HR Business Partner (On‑Site)

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Salary: £36,114 – £41,604 per year (pro rata, 22.2 hours per week)

Type: Permanent, Part‑Time (22.2 hours/week)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Professional to join the Human Resources team at Suffolk New College. As a senior member of the HR team, you will deliver a proactive, professional, customer‑focused, effective and efficient service that drives business performance and supports strategic and operational objectives.

You will be the HR lead for a portfolio of directorates and departments, providing advice, guidance and support on all aspects of HR activity in line with policy, procedures and employment law. Working in partnership with senior management, you will drive organisational culture and improve performance via solution‑focused decision‑making, creative thinking and pragmatic implementation of policy and process.

Line management responsibility is integral to the role and you will be expected to work across the multi‑campus college, including travel between campuses.
