HR Business Partner – Job Description

Reports to: Group HR Director

Salary: up to £60,000

About the Role

The HR Business Partner will work closely with the local leadership team and collaborate with the wider group HR function to deliver a people agenda that drives engagement, capability, and performance. This role is pivotal in creating structure, introducing systems, and embedding best practice HR across the business. Will also work closely with the wider HR team within the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, providing strategic and operational HR support.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR processes and frameworks to enable scalability and efficiency.
  • Work with the GHRD to drive the introduction of new HRIS system to provide accurate data in the long terms and enable data driven decision.
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage change initiatives and embed cultural alignment.
  • Support recruitment for key roles and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters and coach managers to build capability.
  • Collaborate with group HR to ensure consistency while tailoring solutions for local needs.
  • Influence and challenge senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Track record of implementing HR systems and creating processes from the ground up.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to introduce data-led decision-making.
