Job Overview:

Weare partnering with a leading Dairy Manufacturing business in search of a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). Based in London, this is a pivotal role for an HR leader with over 7 years of experience in the FMCG or food and beverage manufacturing sectors. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy across the region that aligns with global business goals, while fostering a strong company culture.

As a key member of the regional leadership team, you will champion people and culture, driving performance through effective people management, leadership development, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute a regional people strategy that aligns with both regional and global business objectives, enhancing organisational performance.
  • Ensure that the people agenda facilitates the company's growth while reflecting local market needs.
  • Leadership & Strategic Contribution:
    • Serve as a strategic partner to the regional leadership team, contributing to the overall business strategy and decision-making processes.
    • Drive the company's culture across the region, ensuring it reflects the company's core values and fosters a high-performance environment.
  • Talent Management:
    • Oversee the full talent management lifecycle within the region, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and development.
    • Implement initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent, aligning with the global talent strategy.
    • Drive leadership development initiatives to build a robust pipeline of future leaders.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture:
    • Lead regional employee engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with global efforts to foster high morale and productivity.
    • Facilitate cultural change initiatives, embedding company values consistently across all locations within the region.
  • Organisational Development & Change Management:
    • Identify regional organisational development needs and implement tailored solutions that support business growth.
    • Lead change management processes within the region, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
  • HR Operations & Compliance:
    • Oversee HR operations within the region, including payroll, benefits, and compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
    • Develop and implement regional HR policies and procedures in line with global standards, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment.
  • Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent within the region.
  • Conduct benchmarking to ensure that compensation and benefits packages remain competitive in the market.
  • Performance Management:
    • Oversee the regional performance management and reward processes to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I):
    • Lead regional DE&I initiatives, promoting an inclusive and diverse workplace in line with global DE&I strategies.
    • Implement programs to address equity and remove barriers to inclusion, while monitoring and reporting on progress through regional DE&I metrics.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting:
    • Monitor and report on key HR metrics to the global HR team, providing insights that inform regional and global people strategies.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7+ years HR experience in a regional or multi-site role, preferably within FMCG or food and beverage manufacturing.
    • Proven experience in implementing HR strategies that contribute to business success.
  • Skills:
    • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the FMCG industry.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, providing strategic HR guidance.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to manage complex issues.
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • CIPD qualification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Experience with HR metrics and HRIS systems.
    • High ethical standards and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
    • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
