Job description

Our client is a Wealth and Asset Management firm in the City of London, they are looking for an HR Advisor to provide practical guidance and support across a busy HR function. This role is a generalist position and you will have exposure to all functions of the department.

Ideally you will have HR experience in a financial/professional services environment, a sound understanding of the principles of ‘good’ HR practice and UK employment law. You should be CIPD Level 5+ qualified (or equivalent).

The company currently operates a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Advisory: Provide advice to line managers on employee relations (ER) issues, family friendly policies, and update existing policy documentation.
  • Performance Management: Proactively take responsibility for the adherence and implementation of HR policies, manage probationers, and support line managers in performance management practices.
  • HR Analytics: Report on HR analytics monthly and quarterly to relevant departments.
  • Benefits and Payroll: Action HR related invoices, advise benefits broker of employee changes, and produce pension letters according to auto-enrolment rules.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, organize new joiner inductions, and produce relevant documentation for promotions and job changes.
  • Training: Assist with booking external and internal training courses, maintain training records, and assist with maintaining up-to-date qualification records.
  • General: Regularly review documentation, update the firm’s HRIS, monitor the HR inbox, and assist with HR projects and new initiatives.

This is a permanent position, offering a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
