Overview

Are you passionate about people and ready to make a real impact in healthcare? Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive, professional, and compassionate HR Advisor to join our dynamic Workforce team.

As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, efficient, and forward-thinking HR advisory service across the Trust. You’ll work closely with managers, clinicians, and colleagues to support the Trust’s workforce agenda, ensuring the consistent application of policies and procedures underpinned by current employment legislation.

Responsibilities
  • Providing expert advice and support to managers on all HR matters, including employee relations, recruitment, retention, and workforce planning.
  • Supporting the implementation of the Trust’s workforce strategy and contributing to the achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Leading on recruitment and selection processes, including assessment centres.
  • Advising on pay, terms and conditions, and the application of employment law in a unionised environment.
  • Supporting organisational change, job evaluation, and policy development.
  • Promoting a positive employee relations climate and effective partnership working with staff side colleagues.
  • Producing and analysing workforce information to inform decision-making and service improvement.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems, policies, and processes.

You will be supported with CPD opportunities including internal development, shadowing and opportunities to attend external events such as legal seminars and workshops.
