Due to business growth, we currently have a new opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our Operational Support team. With a competitive salary, flexible and hybrid working, and a broad benefits package, this role is an integral part of the HR function.

About the Role

As HR Advisor, you will report directly to the HR Manager and play a key role in supporting a broad range of HR processes and practices. Your contribution will be essential to the successful delivery and execution of our HR priorities. This role is hybrid, with an average of three days per week based at our Droitwich and Worcester offices, and two days working remotely.

The responsibilities and activities will include:

  • Working with Managers and employees, to provide pragmatic and viable solutions to bring the HR agenda to life as a highly credible and trusted HR generalist.
  • Provide coaching & guidance to managers on best practice regarding a wide variety of employee related matters. Building their capability, encouraging them to think through issues and giving them confidence and knowledge to handle difficult and sensitive matters whilst ensuring they fully understand the risk/implications
  • Overseeing the Lifecycle of Graduate and apprentices from Onboarding through their exam and onwards.
  • To become an expert on the HRIS & Appraisal System.
  • Support initiatives and programmes which deliver positive employee engagement. For example - engagement survey, employee experience and continuous improvement of employee life events
  • Support the development HR policies, processes, and values ensuring that they are compliant with legislation and match best practice.
  • Be skilled on all employee relations issues, including capability, absence management, health, redundancy, to ensure successful and timely resolution and mitigation of risk.
  • Coach managers to build capability, encouraging them to think through issues and giving them confidence and knowledge to handle difficult and sensitive matters whilst ensuring they fully understand the risk/implications

About You

  • Ideally Level 5 CIPD qualified.
  • Passionate about providing a proactive and value-add HR service.
  • A flexible self-starter with strong initiative, excellent organisational and multitasking skills who is capable of working autonomously, managing and prioritising their own workload and strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation, policies & procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate across diverse groups and levels
  • Excellent communication, presentation, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience of working closely with HR systems.
