Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and organised HR Administrator to join our team at the Luton manufacturing facility. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the HR Team and directly with employees supporting the administration across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for delivering key administrative and operational activities essential to the smooth functioning of HR operations. Core operational hours are Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 16:30, and Friday, 07:30 to 12:30. Flexibility around working hours can be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing employment offers and contracts
  • Managing pre-employment checks
  • Onboarding and Offboarding administration
  • Creating, maintaining and auditing complete accurate HR files and databases relating to all personal information, employment history, and benefits-related records
  • Recording and reporting on sickness absence
  • Enter updates to the HR systems, with employee change requests, creating reports, maintaining employment records as required by retention policies, run reports as needed and other functions.
  • Support site-wide communications by preparing and distributing HR-related updates, notices, and announcements to employees
  • Be the key person in the team for ensuring administration tasks are kept up to date
  • Supporting initiatives and projects to raise employee engagement and help make us a Great Place to Work
  • Human Resources administration experience involving daily interaction with employees and managers
  • Experience / knowledge in HRIS and general administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced operational environment
Desirable
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors (HRIS)
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • HR process knowledge
  • CIPD Qualified or working towards
