Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an HR Administrator for an international engineering company in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland. Responsibilities include maintaining employee files, carrying out RTW checks, and assisting with new hires. The ideal candidate should have at least 12 months of administrative experience and strong IT skills. This permanent position offers a salary of £24,500 to £30,000 per annum.

Industrial Temps is delighted to be recruiting for an HR Administrator for our Client, an international engineering company manufacturing car engine parts, in Dunmurry.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining paper and electronic employee files.
  • Carrying out RTW checks, producing contracts & looking after all the admin & paperwork around the on-boarding of new starts.
  • Regularly arranging the drugs testing of potential new agency Temps.for production roles.
  • Assisting with the induction of new starts.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate recruitment files and completing the annual Fair Employment Monitoring Return.
  • Producing absence information on a weekly basis for Team Managers.
  • Monitoring the completion by managers of various activities e.g. appraisals, RTW interviews, T&A disciplinaries.
  • Other miscellaneous admin tasks e.g. arranging Optician appointments for employees for prescription safety glasses.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent including English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • 12 months’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong IT skills (spreadsheets, databases, extracting reports and maintaining information.
  • Good communication & inter-personal skills (verbal & written).
  • Effective team working skills.
  • High levels of accuracy with good attention to detail.
  • Organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
