We are currently seeking an individual to join the team as How We Lead - Rewiring Senior Manager.

How We Lead is HSBC’s Group-wide leadership framework. It is aligned to our ambition and strategy and is expected to be role modelled by all leaders.

Common leadership language, behaviours and tools combined with clear capable and motivated teams will drive better outcomes for customers and stakeholders.

This role will support the successful integration of How We Lead into existing organisational policies, processes, and practices, and reimagining internal processes.

You must be passionate about our cultural reset and equipped with the pragmatism to translate strategy to delivery across a portfolio of rewiring pillars.

In this role, you will:
See it through, make it happen.
  • You’ll support the Managing Director of How We Lead and Senior Business Rewiring Leads to design and deliver an organisational rewiring roadmap for How We Lead rewiring from Q4 2025 and beyond.
  • You’ll collaborate with SMEs, senior leaders, PO12 members, performance coaches and other key stakeholders to re‑engineer HSBC core policies/processes/products to reflect and reinforce our cultural reset

  • You’ll work with SMEs to deliver measurement of the adoption and embedding of How We Lead and appropriate ‘course correction’ where required.
  • You’ll facilitate workshops and working groups to build ownership and embed practice and develop materials to report progress to the How We Lead Advisory Board and HSBC Operating Committee.
Create excitement, inspire ambition.
  • You’ll be the How We Lead rewiring SME partner to communications, driving the development and implementation of internal/external marketing & communication plans to promote awareness and adoption of rewiring changes
  • You’ll champion culture change and behavioural adoption through visible role modelling and reinforcement.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working across business line and infrastructure teams, with a strong understanding of the landscape of policies, processes, products to be able to provide SME knowledge and challenge rewiring proposals.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially senior level stakeholders in regard to culture and behaviour.
  • The ability to translate strategic objectives into practical actions and deliverables using prior project management or programme management experience.
  • Be able to balance both strong colleague experience and organisational experience lenses.
  • Pragmatic problem solver – able to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.

The role location will be London.
