A housing management company is seeking a Housing Officer to provide comprehensive housing services across multiple properties in Willenhall. Key responsibilities include advising tenants on local amenities, managing void properties, and ensuring compliance with tenancy laws. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving tenant experiences and maintaining property standards. Main Purpose of the Job :
To provide comprehensive housing management services within a defined geographical area (c.70 properties), including the management and coordination of : voids; health and safety; maintenance; property inspections and aspects of tenancy management, including nuisance and anti-social behaviour advise and local amenities advice.
To work closely with Local Authorities’ Housing Officer and to provide additional tenancy sustainment support to designated designated tenants when required.
The post holder must assume responsibility for his / her /their own professional and personal development (supported by the company where appropriate) to ensure that (s)he develops and maintains continuing competence to deliver the organisation’s requirements, including the fair and supportive management of all staff in estate services.
