A local government authority in Northallerton is seeking a Graduate Trainee to support the Housing Needs service. This role involves working closely with the Housing Needs and Options Managers, assisting with data analysis, and gaining valuable experience in a busy council environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Housing or a related field and a strong desire to develop their skills in this area. Salary: Grade E (scp 6 £25,989), for 1-6 months, Grade F (scp 9 £27,254) for 6-12 months, and Grade G (scp 13 £29,064) for the final year 13‑24 months.

Contract: 2 years fixed term as part of North Yorkshire graduate programme
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire
We are seeking a graduate trainee for Housing Needs, primarily supporting the operational and strategic needs for the teams in the West of North Yorkshire. The graduates in the team work well together, supporting managers and team leaders with several working groups and service development opportunities.
The role is based in Northallerton but requires travel to all localities in North Yorkshire. If you want to develop diverse skills, this position could be ideal for you.
